Developed workshop focusing to “Modern, skill-based and flexible syllabuse”

From 15th   to  22nd of January,  a group of  30 teachers of English for Specific Purposes from 20 different institutions in Uzbekistan as well as UK consultant, Jeff Stanford have started an 8-day workshop focusing on developing modern, skill-based  and flexible syllabuses at the University of World Languages . This workshop is the next stage of the large –scale   English for Specific Purposes Integrated Reform in Uzbekistan programme, which has being   jointly implemented by the British Council, the Republic of Uzbekistan Scientific-Practical Innovation Centre and the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Education. As a representative from Tashkent Medical Academy, Shakhnoza Bobojonova Yo’ldoshevna participated in this project. Working on syllabuses with other teachers from different universities gives much possibility to exchange ideas and experiences. During sessions we together with teachers wrote  the sample of the syllabus for ESP students in medical field and present it to the groups. You can see the pictures and the syllabuses here. At the end of session , certificates were given by Mr. Jeff, organizers of British Council, Saida Irgasheva, Umida Nurjonova.
